Our occasional care service caters for children aged 0-6 years and operates Monday-Friday. Whether you need to work from home, run errands or take some time for yourself, our service can accommodate your child care requirements. Child care is also available for students undertaking a daytime class or workshop with us.
Our aim is to create a strong sense of belonging for your child and encourages any ideas or feedback from families, welcoming any input into our programs to better support your child. Our educators are committed to collaborating together to deliver the highest standard of care and support.
Hours of Operation:
Our centre operates during the Victorian school terms, Monday to Friday 9am-1pm. You can choose either a 3 hour session, 9-12pm or 4 hour session, 9-1pm or 5 hour sessions on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9-2pm.
We can accommodate children attending Burch Memorial Kindergarten and provide an authorised pick up (walk to cottage) service so families can therefore access a full day of care.
Please note: At the beginning of each term, please check hours available as demand often changes due to staffing and ratio requirements.

FEES:
Wonga Park Community Cottage is a not-for-profit organisation whereby the Committee of Management structures affordable child care based on cost only. Our child care service is fee for service and is not subsidised with CCS as we operate school terms only.
3 hour sessions: 9am-12pm -$39 one child (sibling $19.50)
4 hour sessions 9am-1pm - $52 one child (sibling $32 - sibling charged full rate for 4th hour)
5 hour sessions 9am-2pm - available Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays - $67.50 one child (Sibling $49.50-discount applied for first 3 hours only.)
Class participants (staying onsite) - $7 per hour per child.
Permanent bookings - 5% discount for full term
Shorter periods are subject to availability and Fees are charged at an hourly rate of $12.50 per hour pro rata.
Cancellation policy: If your child can’t attend their allocated day, please advise us before 3pm the day prior to attendance. A $10 admin fee will be charged if notified by this cut off time, otherwise full daily fees will apply. Enrolment Enquiry.
